How to InstallAdd a brief explanation here for consistency.
1. Connect the Cradlepoint router to your ISP provided modem.
Plug the blue Cat5e Cable into any available Ethernet port on your existing Modem and then plug the other end into the blue port of your CAKE CradlePoint Router. Plug the black power cord into the routers power port and power it on. You should now see a series of blinking lights.

2. Connect the POS terminal to the CradlePoint router.
You will find a Black Cat5e Cable already connected to the POS. Run it to any yellow port on the router (or Network Switch if using one). If you placed your router further away then the provided cable can reach, then you may need to acquire a longer cable available from any electronic supply store.

3. Connect the receipt printer to the Cradlepoint router.
Connect the Receipt printer with the number: PRP-300.20 to the router using the Cate5e Cable provided in the printer box. If a longer cables is needed you will have to acquire one separately.

4. Connect the cash drawer to the printer.
If using the provided cash drawer, Place it under the terminal and connect the attached cable to the back of the printer.

5. Load printer with paper, and power up terminal.
Load Paper into the printer by pulling the black trigger on the left side of the printer towards you. Remove thecrossbar and tape and discard. Drop the provided paper into the printer with the paper coming up from the bottom of the roll and close the lid with a few inches of paper sticking out of the top.

6. Connect the remote printer (optional).
If you are using a remote (kitchen) Printer. follow the same steps as the receipt Printer but using the Printer withthe number: PRP-300.30 or higher.

7. Activate your account.
In order to configure your new CAKE POS, please enter the Merchant Pin and token provided in your Welcome Email Click “Activate Account.”

Multi Terminal Network Configuration
If you are installing multiple terminals you may need to use the included Network Switch. This switch will enable youto have additional ports for use with CAKE devices.*
If additional ports are required, simply run a CAT5 cable from any port in the Network Switch to an available yellow port in the Router. Don’t forget to plug the new switch into power!
*Network ports on the switch and router can only be used for CAKE devices.
Please Note: When Installing multiple terminals the same Merchant Pin and Token (see step 7) are used to activate all terminals. Token is only valid for 12 hrs after first use.
