INSTRUCTION MANUAL gears of war mod VER 1.0

Congratulations, welcome to the GamerModz Family! You are now a proud owner of a GamerModz Custom Modded Controller. The Gears of War Mod for Xbox One is the ultimate mod for Gears of War Ultimate Edition and also comes with the SPS-X1 Rapid Fire Mod for use on other FPS Games. Be sure to read the instructions fully before operating the controller to maximize your domination potential. Happy Gaming!!!

Selecting a Mode There are 3 Top Level Modes to this controller. When selecting a mode, the Main LED will flash the number of times corresponding to the mode chosen.

Mode 1: Gears of War Mod - For Gears of War Ultimate Edition - Mods Include the Following:

o Smart Active Reload o Auto Chainsaw o Auto Self Revive o Auto Teammate Revive

Mode 2: SPS-X1 Adjustable Rapid Fire - For Use on All Other FPS Games (Not Gears of War)

Mode 3: All Mods Off To select a Mode, hold down the View Button and Tap the Sync button the number of times corresponding to the Mode you want. (For Example, holding the back button and tapping the sync button 2 times will put the controller into Mode #2: SPS-X1 Adjustable Rapid Fire) tap

Mode 1: Gears of war mods Once you cycle to Mode 1: Gears of War Mod, all GOW Mods are enabled. Simply reference the quick tips below on how to perform each function.

Auto Chainsaw With the Lancer selected as your weapon, simply tap the B button

Auto Self Revive To Auto Self Revive, simply Hold Down the Left Thumbstick , and tap the A Button

Auto Teammate Revive To Auto Self Revive, simply Hold Down the Left Thumbstick , and tap the X Button

Smart Active reload To perform a Perfect Active Reload, simply tap the Right Bumper.

Notes:

(1) Reference Selecting a Loadout on the Following Page (2) When using the Shotgun, you must wait until the character animation finishes ejecting the shell before

you can use active reload (3) When using a Sniper or Boom Shot, firing the weapon will automatically active reload for you without

needing to press the Right Bumper (4) If you pick up a weapon during gameplay, you must tell the controller what weapon you picked up and

what d-pad position it was placed


Smart Active Reload: Selecting a Loadout There are two standard default weapon layouts for Gears of War Ultimate Edition. You must tell the controller what layout you are using. To select the weapon layout, hold down the View Button and tap D-Pad Up once or twice – corresponding to one of the layouts below. Note: This is also how you would reset your controller after picking up new weapon in a game prior to starting a new match or respawning. Loadout #1: Loadout #2

Same as Loadout #1, but the Shotgun is replaced with the Hammer Burst

Smart Active Reload: Assigning a new weapon During gameplay, there are opportunities to obtain new weapons that are not in the standard loadout. For Perfect Active Reload to work, you must tell the controller what weapon you picked up, and in what D-Pad Direction it is assigned to. To Assign a new weapon to a D-Pad Direction, simply hold the View Button and Tap the Direction on the D-Pad or or or corresponding to the new Weapon Location the number of times corresponding to the weapon list below: Lancer – 1 Snub-Pistol – 2 Gnasher Shotgun – 3 Hammer Burst – 4 Sniper – 5 Boom Shot – 6 For Example, let’s assume our initial loadout is Loadout #1 (Shown Below). And during the game, we pick up the Sniper and assign it to D-Pad Left (Replacing the Shotgun). We would need to tell the controller this. To do so, simply hold down the View Button and tap Left on the D-Pad 5 times. The Main LED will flash once acknowledging the change. NOTE: Once you respawn or start a new game, you will need to reset the loadout. Refer to the section Smart Active Reload: Selecting a Loadout


Mode 2: SPS-X1 Adjustable Rapid Fire

Your GamerModz SPS-X1 Controller comes with 1 Programmable Mode of Rapid Fire. To program rapid fire, you must first have rapid fire enabled. Once rapid fire is enabled, follow the instructions below to program your shots per second. Your controller will remember the settings even after you turn your controller off.

Turn On/off Rapid fire To enable/disable Rapid Fire, Hold Down the Right Trigger , Tap Down on D-Pad , then Release the Right Trigger . Note: If you turn Rapid Fire on this way, the SPS-X1 Controller will default to the last Rapid Fire Settings.

Programming adjustable Rapid fire Once rapid fire is enabled, Hold Down the Right Trigger , then Hold Down Right on D-Pad until the LED begins to flash. Release both the Right Trigger and Right on D-Pad .

Once in Programming Mode you can adjust your shots per second by Tapping Up on D-Pad to Increase Shots per Second and by Tapping Down on the D-Pad to Decrease Shots per Second. Note: Each time you Tap the D-Pad, your Rate of Fire will Increase or Decrease 1 Shot per Second.

To test the Rapid Fire Rate, fire your weapon by pulling the Right Trigger . Adjust your Rapid Fire Rate by Tapping Up or Down on the D-Pad until the desired smoothness and rate of fire is achieved. Please see graph on Page 4 for Reference.

Once you have the desired Rapid Fire Setting, Tap Right on D-Pad to lock in the rate of fire. The XBOX One LED will flash the number times corresponding to your rate of fire and then return to heartbeat flashes. For Example: 12 Shots per Second, The LED will flash 12 times, then return to heartbeat flashes.

Optimizing Adjustable rapid Fire

The below graph is a visual representation on how Adjustable Rapid Fire works for your GamerModz SPS-X1 Controller. This will help you manually adjust your Rapid Fire to the optimal rate of fire by understanding how GamerModz Rapid Fire works.

Notes:

- It is possible for the Rapid Fire to be so fast that it does not register in the game. If this occurs, try slowing it down at times.

- Slowing automatic weapons down to reduce recoil and increase accuracy can be effective too.

Frequently asked questions

Q: My Controller is acting crazy! How do I get it to stop?

If you notice your controller is inputting all kinds of commands that you do not want, you may want to deactivate the unnecessary mods that may be active. If you are unsure what mods are active, simply perform the Master Reset below.

Q: I’ve See GamerModz Controllers shoot really, really fast! But my Rapid Fire is really slow. What’s the deal?

If your weapon is firing too slowly, it that either your weapon is not compatible with rapid fire (e.g. Rocket Launcher) or it could mean that you do not have the Rapid Fire Shots per Second set high enough.

Q. My Rapid Fire is jumping or stuttering, how do I get it to stop?

If your rapid fire is not shooting consistently and seems to be stuttering, you have set the Shots per Second too high. This means the controller is trying to fire your weapon at a speed that is not compatible with the particular game and weapon. Try decreasing your shots per second.

If you are experiencing problems with your controller and would like to reset to factory default settings, turn your controller off and then back. Then simply Hold Down the Right Trigger and Left Trigger, Tap the sequence below , then Release Left Trigger and Right Trigger
