Aimed at physicianspreparing for the American Board of Internal MedicineCertification or Recertification Examination, it is alsoappropriate for any physician seeking an intensive review ofinternal medicine. The curriculum covers primary care, everymedical subspecialty, and selected outside specialties suchas neurology, dermatology, and psychiatry. The interactive format is designed to actively engageparticipants and provide optimal preparation for passing theexamination. lectures are organized around boards-stylequestions. Course participants will use an AudienceResponse System to anonymously answer these questionsand receive real-time feedback about their fund of knowledge.Course faculty is comprised of esteemed UCSF clinicians andteachers, many of whom wrote or edited the McGraw-Hillreview book First Aid for the Medicine Boards.
