International Congress is the annual convening of AIESEC and its member countries and territories, aimed at celebrating youth leadership, cultural diversity and global togetherness. It takes form as an occasion where the organisational state of affairs is reviewed, new goals are set, views and experiences are shared. !An International Congress means the creation of a global plenary, massive not only in its size but in the diversity of ideas, discussions and outreach. The agenda has been designed to meet the interests of over 1400 delegates hailing from different parts of the world, business leaders, entrepreneurs and global trailblazers; to enunciate the idea of a progressive, traditionally modern India using an international platform like none other. !The purpose of the conference is to gather youth delegates who will strategize and co-create AIESEC’s vision for a brief future. This vision will serve as a comparator for success and alignment for the five years that are to follow.

This will be achieved through the actions and decisions of its members as responsible global citizens in the light of the essence of the organisation, which is leadership.

The Theme !The Theme for this year’s International Congress is The World Comes Home. !125 other countries and territories belonging six strategic world regions of the network will be gathering at India, the home. The Indian sentiment of Atithi Devo Bhava or Guest Is God inspired this theme and the conference welcomes home diversity, cultures, love and brotherhood this year.

The Movement !In order to create an excitement and buzz for this grand coming together of youth from across the globe, a movement called #Indianess has been activated across social media and at on-ground engagement platforms. !Through #Indianess, India will be portrayed as a country that is traditionally modern and this time around, the movement will shed stereotypes, age old clichés and refresh the idea, spirit and image of young India for the world.

The city of Gurgaon, is located on the border with Delhi with New Delhi to its north east, in the state of Haryana. Gurgaon has an estimated population of 876,824 and is of about 282.7 square miles. !Retail is an important industry in Gurgaon, with the presence of 26 shopping malls. It is also one of the most important offshoring centres in the world, providing outsourcing solutions in software, IT, service and sales through delivery facilities and call centres.

Gurgaon is home to 250 i.e 50% of the Fortune 500 Companies.

Gurgaon has now emerged to become the city with the third highest per capita income in India.

Talks | 7 Indian Cities | 1 Premiere

Global Youth Voice Talks The Global Youth Voice Talk is a platform that enables youngsters to understand the importance of speak up for things of personal, professional and social relevance. !The following cities will host Global Youth Voice Talk, starting from the month of March to July: !• Ahmedabad • Bangalore • Chennai • Delhi • Hyderabad • Mumbai • Pune !Two or more of the following themes will be covered in each of these talks: !- The need to be heard - Making use of the power of social media - Asking the right questions - Telling the right stories - Creating a personal brand - Becoming employable !Audience & Agenda:

Every GYV Talk will host a selectively - filtered audience of 300 college students per city.

Total on-ground, first-hand impact: 2100 college students

The 2 hour agenda will consist of:- Opening note | 10 minutes - Story 1 | 15 minutes - Story 2 | 15 minutes- Break / Talent Gig | 10 minutes - Session 1 - GYV Theme - 15 minutes- Session 2 - GYV Theme - 15 minutes- Session 3 - Panel Discussion - 25 minutes- Closing | 5 minutes- Networking space | 20 minutes

!The Premiere !The Global Youth Voice Conference will premier as a parallel track at Gurgaon, from August 21 to August 24. It will be a convention of Indian & foreign youth to share stories which have pursued innovative, creative and thoughtful solutions to issues prevalent in our society. !A delegate who signs up for the Premiere will be part of * DAY 1 - Opening Ceremony & Global Village DAY 2 - Core Agenda Day 1DAY 3 - Core Agenda Day 2DAY 4 - Global Youth to Business Forum !The Premiere will host a diverse group of students from across the world that will take part in the agenda of the conference. !!!!!!!!* Agenda under construction and is subject to change according to the discretion of partners and AIESEC

IC Factorial Social Initiatives

What is IC Factorial? International Congress Factorial is the social initiatives brand of IC. !In order make the making of the conference itself an impactful one, 3 social initiatives will be promoted for the purpose of highlighting the need for leadership to carry forward such causes and awareness amongst the youth about the same. !The initiatives IC! will be hosting are: !• Inclusivity !The fact or policy of not excluding members or participants on the grounds of gender, race, class, sexuality, disability, etc.!!• Education !Despite several government initiatives, the right and access to education continues to persist as an impediment to development in the country.!• Sanitation !Lack of proper sanitation is a major concern for the people of India, their health and well-being. A lack of adequate sanitation also leads to significant economic losses for the country.

How IC! will pan out: !April - May - June : These three months will be dedicated to the promoting these causes and creating awareness. !Celebrity Brand Ambassadors:

The social initiatives will be advocated by a popular talent from the entertainment industry.

Each initiative will have its own brand ambassador who will help propel the cause, lead it and amplify the necessity of it awareness through his or her public profiles.

A 30 day engagement module will be agreed upon by the artist / celebrity and a coordinated promotion of the causes will take place, essentially through media and public relations.
