Dukhan Toastmasters conducted International & Humorous contest on 18th January ’2012 at JRC with an overwhelming attendance and participation. International Speech Contest Chairman, TM Raziulla Syed & Humorous Speech Contest Chairman TM Sreedevi Kiran conducted the sessions smoothly with assistance of other role players. TM Sameer Hassan ( Area-18 Governor) was the chief Judge for International & TM Nasimudheen Club president & Assistant Area-28 Governor led the Judges at Evaluation contest.

Dukhan Gavels next meeting will be held on Friday 27th January at Jinan Recreation Centre with theme “New year celebrations” New Officers for the year 2012 will be installed during this meet-ing. Dukhan Gavels once again clinched prestigious Qatar youth public speaking champion award second consecutive year at Qatar Inter Gavels speech contest held on Friday 20th Januray’2012 at DMIS main hall Doha. Contest-ants from 11 Gavels club in Doha participated for this mega event. Gavelier Narsimhan Ravi become first place winner with his outstanding speech “ Three Magical words -Never Give Up”. Young champion Narsimhan Ravi will participate at District Level speech contest at Bahrain on 24th to 26th May’2012. In Table Topics speech contest Gaveleir Sahiti Kotala won Third place with his enthusiastic performance. Gavelier Megan Roch was the first speaker in this series, who picked the topic “ If you are the principal of your School, What you will do to improve your school”. Mr Stephen Royle , Mark Pilling along with coordinator Nasimudheen and many Toastmasters & Gaveliers from Dukhan cheered the contestants.
