The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners is the independent international certification body conferring the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant® (IBCLC®) credential. The certification examination will be available through Computer Based Testing (CBT) in Melbourne during the week after the ILCA conference. Appointments for CBT centres will be available over a period of 3 days. Contact IBLCE at www.iblce.org for details.
Silent AuctionEnrich ILCA scholarship and research grant opportunities by partici-pating in ILCA’s Silent Auction! The auction begins during the open-ing of the exhibit hall Thursday evening. Please consider donating an item and join in on the fun of bidding on items donated by others. Be creative! Any items are welcome, both personal and breastfeeding-related. Delegate donations will be added to those donated by exhibitors for a grand display that will be a highlight of the exhibit hall! Please contact Ashley Lehman, Conference Volunteer Coordina-tor, for more information or to donate an item at [email protected].
Lactation Consultants of Australia and New Zealand Ltd (LCANZ) welcomes ILCA to Mel-bourne! LCANZ is the professional organi-sation for IBCLC® and others in Australia & New Zealand that have an interest in
lactation and breastfeeding. LCANZ provides members with information and educational opportunities to enable them to continue to advance their practice as lactation consul-tants and enhance the profession of lactation consultancy generally in Australia and New Zealand. LCANZ also delivers educational opportunities to the wider population of health care professionals to enable them to provide mothers with the most up-to-date information and expertise available on breastfeeding and lactation.
LCANZ provides a uniquely southern hemisphere approach to breastfeeding and lactation and showcases the abundance of knowledge, research and skill in the Pacific region. LCANZ is the “peak body” of lactation professionals in this region and therefore is in a great position to lobby governments and NGOs on breastfeeding issues. LCANZ is a Multi-National Af-filiate of the International Lactation Consultant Association.

Take this opportunity to fully participate in the Conference and contribute to ILCA’s success while forming new friendships. Family members are welcome to volunteer as well! Volunteers will be contacted by email and are asked to at-tend an orientation session. Please be sure to make this selection during your registration if you are interested in volunteering.
