• Examples of Internet Sites: Youtube, Google, Facebook, Yahoo, 4chan, Hotmail.
What Does The Internet Have To Do With Teen Culture?
• Many teens use The Internet in their day-to-day life
• Teens spend a lot of money each year on Internet games like Farmville.
• Many teens communicate through the internet via Facebook.
How It’s Constructive• Internet can be used by teens to communicate with each other
using sites such as Facebook, Msn, Hotmail
• Can be used for learning purposes such as online textbooks
• Learn about the world through sites like Youtube, BBC news, Yahoo, Google.
• Can help check their homework on the internet by using school websites.
• Can be used to play games as a way to relieve stress
How It’s Destructive• Can be used to cyber bully by writing innapropriete messages on Facebook.

• Can be used for wrong purposes (Ex: Pornography)
• Parents spend a lot of money each year for internet connection.
• Predators can use the internet to find and steal your information by using things like Facebook.
