Introducing Our New Concrete Paver!

Salsco recently introduced our new and improved TPC-72 Guidance Controlled Concrete Slipform Paver at World of Concrete 2021 in Las Vegas. The new version is lighter, less expensive, and more productive than the previous model. In auto mode, the machine will follow the guidance string and adjust tracking and screed elevation automatically, or the operator can manually adjust travel speed. The screed is available in different widths from 48” to 96”.

The new TPC-72 eliminates the need for forms! Just grade and set the string line! This machine is designed with only the basics needed to slipform the walk or pad. By designing it this way, we were able to cut the cost and make it affordable for everyone!

The hopper is constructed of reinforced ¼” steel plates that are 100% continuously welded for strength, and it has a 1.5 cubic yard capacity. The hopper and screed assembly can be raised for easy loading onto trailer ramps. Hoppers come in different widths to match the screed of choice.

Operated via a radio controlled belly pack instrument box.

The Conveyor can be easily mounted to either side of the unit.

Greens Roller Comparison Chart*

Salsco has created a chart that will help you compare different rollers and show you how to calculate P.S.I. on any roller. Checking the facts is easy once you understand the formula: Roller Weight ÷ Total Contact Surface = P.S.I. First determine the contact surface dimension (amount of roll that encounters the turf), and the rest is simple.

Using the Salsco HP5.5 as an example, the formula reveals it has the lowest P.S.I. compared to other rollers. The HP5.5 weighs 750 lbs. and has 1.5” turf contact per four 5½" wide x 36" long rolls … 750 ÷ 216 = 3.47 P.S.I.
