Mogale Alloys is located nearJohannesburg in South Africa. Theplant has a total of 96MVA smeltingcapacity and operates four furnaces;two submerged arc furnaces and twoDC furnaces and produces PlasmaFerrochrome, Silico Manganese andStainless Steel Alloy. Combined annualcapacity is around 110,000 tonnes.

EWW is a German based smelting company which has a long-termtoll manufacturing agreement with Ruukki. The Company sourcesits High Grade Chrome Ore from Ruukki’s Turkish operation, TMS.
EWW produces Low Carbon and Ultra Low Carbon Ferrochrome,for use in the production of highly specialised products. Ruukkihas captured a significant segment of the global market for theseproducts as the Group is often the only supplier of particularalloys developed with individual customers for their specificbusiness needs. Current production capacity is approximately30,000 tonnes per annum.

Located in Turkey, TMS produces High Grade Chrome Concentrateand Lumpy Ore, providing Ruukki with high quality chromeconcentrate for processing by its European minerals processingbusiness. Excess concentrate and ore is sold by RCS directly to thirdparties.
The ore mined by TMS is low in phosphor and sulphur making it idealfor smelting. It also contains a favourable ratio of chrome to iron,lending itself to the production of specialised stainless steel products.Annual production capacity is between 100,000 and 120,000 tonnes.
