An Introductory Hands on WorkshopLinked to the Australian Science and the new Digital Technologies CurriculumThis workshop session is designed to be hands on, encourage collaborative learning and to have some fun.
Teachers attending this workshop will:
• Be introduced to the WeDo 2.0 hardware through quick build models exploring the use of motors & sensors. • Program using the WeDo drag and drop software which provides an integrated learning experience. • See how students can add text, images & video to create & present projects. • Explore the Australian curriculum material available to match your needs & requirements in the classroom.
Years 2–6.

Workshop Fee: FREE

About the PresenterJames Dwyer is a teacher with a passion for robotics, who loves to share his knowledge and excite other teachers! James has recently re-joined the MTA team and brings substantial experience as a facilitator of robotics workshops, from beginning to advanced. He is heavily involved in RoboCup competitions and has mentored numerous teams to success at the highest levels. James has a warm and engaging presentation style and his supportive approach to learning makes him a great workshop presenter.
