i. Polished surface
The outer surface of the denture and in contact tothe muscle of cheek and tongue

Steps in CD Construction
CD construction needs six visits:
1. Diagnosis, treatment plan, primary impression
(preliminary)2. Border molding and final impression
3. Jaw relation record
4. Try-in the teeth
5. Insertion of the denture
