DESCRIPTION

This presentation introduces the results of a 2-years project named PILIP. The goal of this project was to get a better handle of informal learning in order to stimulate lifelong learning. This project was carried out by 12 partners in 5 European countries.

Informal learning

means that knowledge can be transferred more effectively (the impact is twice as great as with formal learning);

takes place implicitly, by everyone and even in the smallest interventions or actions;

is only truly valuable for the organisation if the HR manager and the line manager play a role in the whole
