“MY ACCOUNT”• When giving out a library card, please let the patron know that they are

able to access their account online with their new library card and password. Features include: Checking on Items Out, Placing Holds, Renewing Items, Checking Holds, Checking on Fines/Fees, Save Title Lists, Saved Searches, Maintain Checkout History.

LOGINPatron needs to enter their library card number and password. If they forgot their password, we can change it in the Registration form or they can do it themselves by clicking on “Forgot your Password?” An email will be sent to the email on their account with the password.

CHANGE PASSWORD/USERNAME• If the patron would like to change their password or username they can change it here.

• PLEASE NOTE: If the patron changes their username, we cannot see what it is. If they forget, then they can still log in using their barcode number.

CONTACT PREFERENCES

Contact Preferences can be changed here.

READING HISTORY

If the patron would like to keep a list of items they have checked out, then they would click here.

ITEMS OUT

List of all items currently checked out to the patron. The list shows renewals left and has a link to the item in our catalog if you click on the title.

RENEWALSItems can be renewed by clicking on the box next to each item that needs renewals. Next, click on “Renew Selected Items.” There is also an option to “Renew All Items” and this does not require the boxes to be checked.

REQUESTS/HOLDSPatrons can view items they have placed on hold. Holds can be canceled by clicking on the box next to the item and clicking here.

Patrons can suspend active holds so they become active at a later date here.

FINES/FEES

Patrons can view any fines or fees associated with their card.

Note: All fines and fees can only be paid at the library.

SAVED SEARCHESPatrons can enter in Search criteria to get an email either weekly or monthly withSearch results. For example, if they wanted to know if a new book by a certain author comes to the library, they enter in the author’s name and search by author.

Next, click on “Save Search.”

Name the search

In the “Saved Searches” tab, the patron can view all of their saved searches.Saved Searches can be deleted here too.

MY LISTSPatrons can search for items while logged in to their account and save items in a list.

After a patron finds an items they want to add to a list, they click here.

If it is a new list to save, click on “New List.”

Name the list here.
