INTRODUCTION INFORMATION It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the II International Flow Cytometry Course taking place on March 2017 in Montevideo, Uruguay. The Course is organized by the Beckman Coulter Foundation and sponsored by IFCC and GRCF. The conferences will be held in Fundación Pérez Scremini –SMU (Sindicato Médico del Uruguay), Salón de Actos located both in the city center, near Battle Park. The workshop will consist of three full days of activities, March 29 th through 31 st , which will be divided in two modules: theoretical sessions in the mornings, and practical exercises in the afternoons. The workshop will be dealing with issues of actualization/updates, and it is aimed at those who already have experience in the application of Flow Cytometry as well as those who wish to know its potential. The topics of the workshop include Current Immunotyping Strategies, Study of Acute Lymphoblastic and Myeloblastic Leukemias (diagnosis and MRD), Contributions in Myelodysplastic Syndromes, Study of Monoclonal Gammapathies, Study of Normal and Neoplastic Lymphocytic Lines, Study of Immunodeficiencies as well as practices related to said themes. While Beckman Coulter sponsors the event exclusively, the topics covered will include useful knowledge for all professionals working in the areas of Clinical or Research Flow Cytometry. The city of Montevideo, capital of the República Oriental del Uruguay, is a very welcoming city located in front of the estuary of the Rio de la Plata (River Plate) with multiple natural, architectural, cultural and gastronomic attractions, typical of this area of America. A distinctly immigrant cultural heritage reflects the largely European origins. The workshop is open to everyone who is interested in this technology and wish to know the new trends in equipment and strategic advances. However, practical sessions will be limited to achieve best results. INTRODUCTION INFORMATION

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the II International Flow Cytometry Course taking place on March 2017 in Montevideo, Uruguay. The Course is organized by the Beckman Coulter Foundation and sponsored by IFCC and GRCF.
