You will need to identify 3 hazards related to the location. You will not be risk assessing any of these location hazards but you do get to decide whether or not they should be risk assessed.

Describe the location in relation to the hazard. Sometimes this might be the whole area or a specific place within the area.

You will need to include sufficient information about the hazard to let the assessor know what you are considering. trip hazard etc is not enough.

Only include here those people that a re affected by this hazard. Make sure that you have identified these people in Part One.

You decide whether you need to assess these or not.

Example: The carpet in the fire escape doorway on the left hand side of the room is not secured properly. Or The room does not have air conditioning.

Example: People might trip over the raised carpet. Or The room gets uncomfortably hot in the summer, causing fatigue
