• Started from a practical need to adapt both ICT in general as well new equipment (iPad) as part of crafts teaching and learning process - as required in national core curriculum as well local curriculums.
• Followed the principles of design- and action research to develop and test teaching methods and -solutions in crafts, made possible by iPad. (18 students from 3rd grade, 11 from 6th.)
• Charted out possibilities of multimediated teaching on researching and collaborative learning in crafts. (Bereiter & Scardamalia 1989; Hakkarainen, Lonka & Lipponen 1999; Lehtinen, 2003; Scardamalia & Bereiter 2003, 2006).
