Remain theindependentworldwideorganization of ISHeads?

Move to becomean AIS SIG, i.e.ISAHI-SIG ?

Page 19: ISAHI Lunch ECIS 2008 Galway

9. In my opinion ISAHI should:• Not a SIG, but affiliated with AIS in a different

way • It can gain from the established capacity of AIS • It is not clear whether AIS actually serves the

boarder information systems community. There are some IS groups that seem to be more comfortable with ACM IEEE.

Page 20: ISAHI Lunch ECIS 2008 Galway

9. In my opinion ISAHI should:• Have more flexibility and agility, such as

applying for COST support • AIS is a natural "home" for ISAHI and could

derive benefit from the resources (headquarters staff, etc.) available through AIS.

• AIS is the international society for information systems and we should be a part of it. Our participation will further strengthen its value to the field.

9. In my opinion ISAHI should:

• AIS - it could be easier to manage

• It is not clear whether AIS actually serves the broarder information systems community. There are some IS groups that seem to be more comfortable with ACM IEEE
