With a vision to provide value basedlslamic education along with modern education for all ages, lEBlis now striving to revise and expand this syllabus in Englishand other regionallanguages up to 12'n.. Through a format ofself study guides and distance education courses lEBl aims toserve Muslim children, youth and adults who are unable to attendformal lslamic schooling. lt has a well organized and regularexamination system for lslamic education to provide spiritualtrainings accordance with its mounting horizons.

IDEOLOGYMuslims have been and still are active contributors to

human development and up-liftment. For effective andsmooth running of both religious and modem education theyoungsters should be prepared and nurtured from thebeginning so that they lead an ideal life abiding by thecommands of Allah and Prophet (sollallahu AlahiWa sallamland must concentrate on the pious duty towards thefellowmen and the society in a perfect way of lslam.otherwise, Allah's wrath will certainly be upon them.Prophet (Sotlaltahu AlahiWa satlam) says "every body of you isruler and everybody of you willbe! asked aboutyourdependents.lAl lah the Al m i g hty sa id " p rotect and kee p aw ay you rself an d yo u rfamityfromthe btazingfire of the Hell."

.l r1llr1r based..curriculum which is founded on the understandingthat lslam.is religion that enjoins upright conduct and goodness fo-rhumanity, in order to develop a better society that is baJed on soundlslamic principles and thereby generate responsible r.rniii orcommunity, nation and world,

PHILOSOPHYAlthough man-made western education systems have lead toinnovative progress in various fields, they hive failed to provide asolution to many forms of degeneration in society for e,g.: misuse ofhuman intellect and creativity to suit polit ical anc economicobjectives, abuse of cou, rer. authoritv and lveaitn y;ars genocide.persecution. This rs oecause'#estern ec-ga:,J^ s., s:ea s a,E ?asecon and driven by political and economical consideratrons. on neother hand, lslam is a comprehensive social order from a divinelvordained system. lts Education system rs based on moral andethical concerns. [4oreover. the beauty of euranrc & lsiamtcteachings is that ihey nave aiivaYs ieer 3c:r3ai.3:€ ;ii:,i ancapplicable to any era, inciuding the curren: prevaii ing rdeas anopractices of modemity. Infact. the spirit of lslarn. its ieachinqs andpractices are the ideals which are sought by modern sociolog'ist andeconomists for bringing about improvements in degerieratingwestern societies, The need foran lslamic education system is bot[a matter of conviction and crucial for mankind. lt is a dutv incumbentupon all Muslims to lead a life abiding by the commands of Allah andHis Be_loved Prophet (sollallahu Alaihi wa sallam). The ideal re-modelling method in order to lead a virtuous and socio_economically productive life, is to completely learn, understand, nurture and incorporate lslamic principles, teaching and values as awhole, in day to day life,

The lslamic concept of knowledge is unitary. lt aims toadvocate lslamic values as a solution to present day problems,at the same time keeping pace with scientific and technicaldevelopments. ln the past Muslim scholars were trained bothin religious and also in scientific and philosophical fields.Presently Madrassas provide only education on lslamicscriptures.without any modern education while, there is a totallack of lslamic values and teachings in modern educationsystems,
