Total Defence Day The school commemorated TotalDefence Day (TDD) on 14 Feb2020. This year’s theme isTogether We Keep SingaporeStrong. The students learnt aboutthe 4-step wipe down routine andwere introduced to the “Soaper5” mascots.

In fighting against the outbreak ofCOVID-19, Total Defence mustnow come into action again. Wehope that as we mark TotalDefence Day, Singaporeans willagain rally together and win thisfight against the virus. Only then,as one united people, can ournation stand up and overcomeany challenge that comes ourway.

Our COVID-19 Frontline StaffIn collaboration with Anchorvale CCand Sengkang West schools, our P4to P6 students were encouraged towrite a thank you note or fold aheart for our COVID-19 frontlinestaff during their recess time.

Parents’ BriefingsThe school conducted Parents’Briefings for all levels, exceptP3-P4 due to the COVID-19outbreak. Parents learnt aboutthe current teaching trends,syllabus and assessment thatare carried out in school. Wehope that parents have foundthe sessions useful.

Springdale Parent Volunteer Club (SPVC) Our parent volunteers came together on 31 Jan 2020 to bond together through craft-making, food and games. They learnt how to make lanterns using red packets. It was a fun session to kick start the Year of the Rat.
