ISSUE #32 THURSDAY, MAY 07, 2020 St. Felicitas Catholic School Mission Statement: Saint Felicitas Catholic School as a Catholic school in the Diocese of Oakland educates children in the Catholic faith and nurtures their minds, bodies, and souls, inspiring them to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ, achieve their highest academic and creative potential, and actively serve and enrich the community. Walking Together in the Light of God’s Love Dear Parents and Guardians, Thank you for such a fantastic pick up day and all the love we have received during teacher appreciation week. It was so wonderful to see everyone! The signs and decorated cars were so awesome! Thank you also to everyone who watched the live streaming SLE assembly. A recorded version will be shared soon! We are continuing to brainstorm how to streamline communication and have things centrally located. The challenge with central location is working to keep it private within our community but not wanting to make it too dicult to access. We have had a few middle school zoom classes disrupted and we want to prevent that in the future. Due to added precautions, it is super important that all students and parents follow our requirements for when attending zooms or google meetings. We are asking that all students always have their First Name, Last Initial, and District Color to identify them. We also ask that during class screens are on at all times. (For parents screens can be o#, but your name needs to be on the screen to identify you.) If we are not sure who you are, you will be removed from the call. Thank you for your help with this! We will have Coee with the Principal at 11:00 tomorrow. The biggest discussion topic will be grades for this trimester. I will send the agenda with the zoom link today. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow! Our Parent Association meeting was moved to Tuesday, May 12th at 7pm. We will discuss the remaining school events and brainstorming how to celebrate our students at the end of the year. All our welcome! Room parents are requested! :) Finally, it’s an important time now more than ever to reach out to those in need. I am grateful to Mrs. Cronin for working to coordinate meal drop os for families in need and frontline workers. Thank you to all of our room parents who are always so willing to step up and help in any way they can! We appreciate you! It’s also important that we look out for our parish as well! Without any collection the parish is in great need. Here is the link to sign up for online giving. You can give a one-time gift or you can sign up for regular donations! I signed up yesterday! :) Some of you are already signed up and I know the parish is grateful! Walking Together in the Light of God’s Love

Dear Parents and Guardians, Thank you for such a fantastic pick up day and all the love we have received during teacher appreciation week.  It was so wonderful to see everyone!  The signs and decorated cars were so awesome!  Thank you also to everyone who watched the live streaming SLE assembly.  A recorded version will be shared soon!

We are continuing to brainstorm how to streamline communication and have things centrally located.  The challenge with central location is working to keep it private within our community but not wanting to make it too difficult to access. We will have Coffee with the Principal at 11:00 tomorrow.
