At Revoe, we are really
proud of our dedicated
team. A number of staff
have recently volunteered to
work with a national
consultant, who has spent 2 days in our school and noticed a
real improvement in the teaching and learning which happens
each day at RLA. He has also noticed a big improvement in
the children’s engagement in their learning which make us all
really proud. Having such a team of committed professionals,
all driven to do the best job possible for you and your child, is
amazing! But we’re not stopping at this … we want you to be
proud to say that your child attends Revoe, a good academy
at our next inspection.

Hot weather means suncream,
water and hats please. We have
seen a number of children with
severe sun burn, some resulting
in absence from school. This is
not acceptable so please ensure
that your child is safe and protected at all times by
applying sun cream before school and before they go out
to play. Please also remind them to drink water regularly
to keep their body healthy! Your child’s health matters!
Thank you
Very sadly, we have seen a
big increase in broken glass
on the Rec and damage to the
Rec fencing. Please be extra
vigilant to ensure that you
and your children remain safe.
Also, a number of children and young people
have been caught on site which is extremely
dangerous behaviour. We are passing on
details to the Police and local high schools
and a number of these culprits have already
been dealt with. Thank you for your
information which will help us to hopefully
prevent a nasty injury (or worse!).

Our children followed our planned
evacuation impeccably and left the
site safely, calmly and in good time.
We have practised our new
arrangements to ensure the building
work does not affect your child’s
safety, our number 1 priority.

Staff Goodbyes and Welcomes
– it is with real regret that we
will be saying goodbye to Mr.
Fish, Mr. Wilkinson, Miss Davids
and Miss Wilson at the end of
this year. We thank them for
their dedicated service and wish
them all well in their next ventures including
Mr. Fish’s very well earned retirement!!
To ensure continuity for your child, we have
appointed class teachers Miss Kippax and Miss
Benson to join our team. Both teachers are
able to attend our transition days so your child
can build a relationship with them before the
September start.
The table below shows the class organisation
for September and your child will have the
opportunity to meet their new class teacher on
Monday 26th June.

A day of sunshine was
enjoyed by families
on Saturday at Revoe
Park Fun Day. Families turned out to enjoy all the activities
organised by Betterstart.
Many dads and volunteers from different
areas of Blackpool supported the event as
well as staff from various Children's Centre's.
Families were able to use
the new park areas to
picnic and play together.
This was supported by the
Park Rangers and Petite Acting Academy.
If you are interested in becoming a
volunteer or wish to attend the next event,
please contact the Children's Centre.
