1. INTRODUCTION

Norce Endeavour has 8 Winches installed on the vessel which are designed for anchoring of the vessel on anyspecific project. The Norce Endeavour is a non propelled vessel and relies solely on its anchoring system formaintaining position and movement when not the under control of a tug.

The maintenance of the Winches and Wires is critical to the vessels safety and wellbeing. Prior to coming to thisproject the maintenance and periodical inspections have been undertaken in a safe and efficient manner.

This WMS will cover:

1. Training and competency of work team.2. Maintaining Star IPS maintenance requirements3. Safe work practices

4. Correct PPE5. Clear Communication

This WMS will not cover the running and maintenance of Winches in detail, as that is considered covered by themakers instruction manual and the vessels Planned Maintenance System (Star IPS).
