Operating Instructions：

1, first dongle plugged into the computer above (Note: dongle is driverless dongle, no need to install

driver), and then install the software on the desktop shortcut will produce two are:

The first step then install PL2303 driver (if the computer has been installed you need to install);

After the driver installation click on the desktop "My Computer" - right - "Properties" - "Device Manager" -

"Port" If the following screen appears proved already installed driver (if you need to reinstall display a question

mark), and then proceed to the next :

Step Open the software "ITOOL" appears at the interface as shown below:

Then click on the corner of ，Activated, this point does not matter, internal

testing, does not close, then the next step，

Step Three: Then put your phone and computer using your cable connection our engineering (computer requires

installation itunes, if the computer has installed 91 mobile assistant general have installed itunes), if the

computer has installed, there will be prompt box "" appears, if not installed, it does not have this prompt, you

must install the Astoria assistant or 91 assistants, and then put the phone into dfu mode (hold down the home

button and the power button, such as a black screen after 5 seconds, release the power button, hold the home do

not release, over 10 seconds or so the software will prompt has entered dfu mode (note the computer screen

right thunderous sound and tips), then "ITOOL" software will find being in dfu mode iphone4 , then click

Testmode, software progress bar will move forward, if successful, the phone within 2 minutes into the purple

screen mode.

If the progress bar finish, the phone has been in the black, purple, or other non-screen mode, it

would need to force off the phone (home + power button long press 10 seconds), re-enter dfu mode, run

again Testmod progress bar to enter purple screen mode!

Then need to wait for about 10 seconds or so, if the phone does not appear purple screen, you

need to re-enter DFU mode operation again until well into the purple screen, as shown below:

(connect cable first in DFU,then button TestNode in pueple screen.)

Step Four: phone into a purple screen mode, then click on "ReadData", after waiting a few seconds, the

software will show your current phone's hardware information, where SN is the serial number of your phone,

check the "SN", will your phone imei corresponding serial number filled in. (check model, area code,

motherboard information and so can be modified), the country code and then click on "WritData", as shown in

the second figure; you will prompt the software below see the "finished", that means changes are complete.

Then exit this software to run a second imei software modifications.

Note: At this point can not click "RebootPhone", if this time click on the phone will automatically exit

purple screen mode to normal mode, the next step can not be carried imei repair.

Step Five: Run the "Phone Tool", the software will self-test as shown below：

Select PL2303 port on your computer properties - hardware manager-com communication ports can view the

specific port; painted red circle click, select Show serial port, the other does not matter, just click the OK button

Select the upper-left corner "Modes" button, select the bottom "AT Terminal"

You need to modify the input into imei, last digit is a check digit, the software will automatically populate.

(Be sure to check imei entered correctly)（A small font underlying data can be rewritten only once, you need to

Click Generate and program traget, then Excute, you will see output information to complete imei rewritten,

disconnect the phone, Success!

What is DFU mode used for?

The primary reason people need to access DFU mode on their iPhone is to change the firmware

on the device. This can serve to downgrade to a prior iPhone firmware and operating system,

or to use a custom firmware that is required for a jailbreak or SIM unlock. For instance, if

you got the iPhone OS 4 download installed and decided you would rather have a prior version

of the firmware on your iPhone, you would need to do this through DFU mode.

How to enter iPhone DFU mode

Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes

Turn the iPhone off (hold down the power button at the top of the iPhone)

Hold down the sleep/power button and home button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release

the power button

Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone

in recover mode has been detected

This is how to achieve DFU mode. You can do it on every phone:

Method 1)

Attach the phone to the pc

Turn the phone off

Hold power and home together for *exactly* 10 seconds

Release power but keep holding home until the pc beeps as a USB device is recognized.

At no point will the display come on. Now your restore should work.

Having problems? Try adjusting the 10 seconds to be slightly less like 9 seconds, then 8, then

7. It’s a tricky timing but you will eventually get it.

Method 2)

Hook up the phone powered on to the PC

Now hold home / power until the phone turns off and keep holding for 10 seconds. If the phone

ever turns on during this phase,start over and hold for less time.

Now release power and continue holding home until the PC recognizes the phone.

I don’t like this method as much because there are “rumors” that it may cause some 1604

errors in the restore. I am not convinced of that though.

Method 3)

Attach the phone to the pc

Turn the phone off

Press and hold power. Keep holding power. As soon as you see display on the screen of any sort

press and hold home.

Hold power and home together for *exactly* 10 seconds

Release power but keep holding home until the pc beeps as a USB device is recognized.

At no point will the display come on. Now your restore should work.

Exit DFU mode on iPhone

The simplest way to exit out of DFU mode is to hold down the Home and sleep/power buttons on

the iPhone while connected to iTunes. Then just hit the power button as and this should reboot

the device as usual.
