Leave colour before and afterHarrison crick

The whole idea of the leave colour effect Is to have a slow build up of colour until the two drops where a burst of powder paint unleashes the colour into the video. This would make the colour more passionate and would make the drops a hell of a lot more creative.I would say this leave colour style is very original, I haven’t seen this anywhere else. Our lyrics are generally very dark, we thought it would be a good way to express the visuals by having parts of grey around our clips. However, grey on its own would look very dull, it also would not be able to express the capabilities of the amazing camera that we have to play with. Losing some of the cinematography in the colour.

From constructive criticism from peers, they couldn’t see the importance of the burst of colour in the backgrounds. Although they thought it was original, they thought it was a bit random. Until I told them our idea of the slow progressiveness of colour until the drop, they couldn’t see the relevance of this idea. Apart from the negative criticism, they thought it was such a good idea that will look amazing when its fully finished.
