WELCOME ON BOARD!
Ahoy! IYLC 2014 delegates,
The Conference Committees are very excited to welcome you to Indonesia Youth Leadership Conference 2014! Indonesia Youth Leadership Conference is the biggest annual conference held by AIESEC in Indonesia. “Sailors on Board” will be our theme for this year’s Indonesia Youth Leadership Conference. As a quote stated that a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor, you as sailors can’t reach your destinations or goals freely and as simple as that, you have to pass or transit to other countries first. Here in AIESEC, we aim to provide the right platform to enhance your capability and capacity to be a future leader by developing your personal & professional skills and global experience. This November, 300/400 delegates will gather in South Tangerang to make a wider connection, discover new perspectives, feel an unforgettable moment, and have fun.
This delegate booklet will be always updated that will help you to prepare and have fun at Indonesia Youth Leadership Conference 2014. So, be sure to read it carefully and we are very open to anyone who wants to contact us if you require any assistance. Can’t wait to meet you in South Tangerang!

The journey of AIESEC Prasetiya Mulya began on
October 14th, 2011 when 3 out of 4 founders,
Clarabelle Tanurahardja, Dendy Emiral and Fedora
Bonita tested their first National Conference,
Management Board Conference 2011 held by LC
Surabaya. The first door to enter AIESEC World is by
opening an expansion and a single conference is
just the perfect platform to translate the biggest
international youth-run student organization in a
snap.
The founders saw an opportunity to establish
AIESEC as it provides Prasmulyan with
Global/International Networking and leadership skill
with a system as if working in a Multinational
Company, is considerably strong in Prasetiya Mulya
and it leads the founder to let AIESEC exists in
Prasetiya Mulya for spreading the impact
Prasmulyan hasn’t had before.
What AIESEC offers is amazingly match with
Prasmulyan goal to be a future business champion.
Thus, form the intersection of what AIESEC in
Prasetiya Mulya School of Business and Economics
officially started in October 2011 and the journey
still continues until now. Currently the LC has 38
active members.

South Tangerang is an independent city in Banten province, Indonesia It forms part of the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area. It was administratively separated from Tangerang Regency on 29 October 2008. South Tangerang is located not too far from Jakarta. It takes about an hour to go to Jakarta by car. South Tangerang sometimes also has a bad traffic since the city is also a business district.
Although South Tangerang is divided into several areas, BSD City and Summarecon Serpong are the most famous areas in South Tangerang. An area half the size of Paris, BSD City is the most ambitious urban planning project in Indonesia. It combines housing, business and commercial properties encompassing a total area of approximately 6,000 hectares. BSD City is designed around the people who live, work and pay there. People will experience an unparalleled quality of life where comfortable homes, business spaces, shopping, education and leisure all come together. The aim is to provide a better, healthier living environment. The iconic property creation has been developed over the last 22 years and has received numerous awards.
BSD is built with first class infrastructure and facilities within reach of homes and commercial developments. It is maintained by a professional management team committed to both citizens and shareholders. BSD City is strategically located in South Tangerang and also the South-West of Jakarta and accessible from two major toll roads of Kebon Jeruk and Pondok Indah.

Sneak Peak South Tangerang & It’s Area
Besides BSD, Summarecon Serpong is also one of the most popular area in South Tangerang. Located about 21 kilometers west of Jakarta, the area in Tangerang has been prepared as one of the satellite cities that support the growth of the capital of Jakarta, especially in accommodating the needs of a residential area in line with the growth of population in Jakarta and surrounding areas. In 1993, in collaboration with Keris Summarecon Group to develop a new township, which became known as Gading Serpong with a total area of 1,500 hectares.
Then in 2004 the business partners decided to accelerate the development Summarecon Gading Serpong area by land division and development of the individual. By sharing the same land about 400 acres for each company, Summarecon then develop a portion of land that exist under the same name Summarecon Serpong. Until 2004, Summarecon has developed 400 acres of land Gading Serpong.
Post-separation Summarecon Serpong has developed as many as 48 clusters for residential and commercial areas. Summarecon Serpong has also provided some support facilities such as schools, universities and colleges, the modem market, sport and recreation clubs, golf courses and clubs, and hospitals. With 500 hectares of land that are available today, Summarecon Serpong has been arranged to be able to match and even exceed the success Summarecon Kelapa Gading in the near future.
