Case studies
Winfrith nuclear site
James Fisher Nuclear was awarded a £60m contract by Magnox Limited to decommission the largest of the reactor cores constructed on the site in Winfrith, Dorset. The contract is to design and deliver a facility to segment and package the reactor core of the redundant steam generating heavy water reactor over a four year period.
Indian Navy submarine rescue
James Fisher’s subsea operations and engineering company, JFD - the global leader in submarine rescue services - has been awarded a £193m contract by the Indian Navy for the provision and long-term support of its submarine rescue capability.
