“Industrial Visit”

The Department of Management Studies. GHRCE had organized an industrial visit to Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills Ltd, Ramtek on 2nd January, 2017 for all their Second Semester students. Suryalakshmi Cotton is one of India’s leading integrated premium yarns to denim to garment manufacturing company with over five decades of market leadership. The students were accompanied by two faculty members, Prof. M Menon & Prof Krushna Padole

The students had taken a round of the plant. They were shown the manufacturing operations in two batches. The students had a brief interaction with the staff members of Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills. The department thanked management of Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills for his kind cooperation.

“Short Term Training Program on “Effective Teaching”

Short Term Training Program (STTP) on “Effective Teaching” was organized by Department of Management Studies, G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur, under TEQIP-II. The program was organized from between 24th December, 2016 to 29th December, 2016. The Chief Guest for the inaugural function was Prof. J. S. Matharu from IMT – Nagpur. Some of the prominent resource persons were, Prof. Jasbir S. Matharu from Institute of Management Technology [IMT-N], Nagpur, Mr. Shivaji Dhawad, Incharge – Field Study – Indian Institute of Management [IIM-N], Nagpur, Mr. Uppal Sinha, renowned Corporate Trainer etc. There were 22 participants from all over Vidarbha region from Polytechnic colleges, Engineering colleges & Management Colleges etc. The program was successfully conducted and highly appreciated by all the participants.
