As the lead singer of Héroes del Silencio, Enrique Bunbury helped turn Spanish rock & roll into a global phenomenonduring the 1990s. Héroes del Silencio developed a large audience that extended into Switzerland, America, France,Germany, and even Serbia, thanks to a heavy tour schedule that often took the band around the world. The group hitits creative peak with 1995's Avalancha and broke up one year later, giving Bunburythe chance to launch a solocareer. As a solo artist,Bunbury reinvented his sound regularly, beginning with the electro-rock music that filled hissolo debut, Radical Sonora.
