A Message From Your President
Happy New Year!!! I hope that you had a fantastic holiday season! January is the time when we reflect on the past year and make resolutions to make the next year even better!!! What do you resolve to change for 2019? What businesses do you know that are not currently part of our Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce Team? Who could you ask to join us? The bigger we make the chamber membership, the better we make Valley City. More events to bring people to town. Making our town more appealing to people looking to relocate. When we grow the chamber, we grow Valley City. Please join us for the Annual Chamber Membership Meeting; Thursday, January 17, 2019, 6 pm at the Valley City Town and Country Club.

A Message From Your EVP
As we enter 2019, there is much to be excited about! We are happy to announce the newest addition to the Chamber team, McKayla Gustafson, who starts this month as our Event Coordinator. We are also excited to have several new members who have joined the Chamber: Ground to Sky, Dakota Handyman, and Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Finally, we are looking forward to our Annual Business Meeting, which will be held on Thursday, January 17th at the Town & Country Club. The Annual Meeting is a time for Chamber members to come together as a group and plan for the future. It is a great way to meet new people and strengthen existing relationships between members. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity for exposure for your business or organization. A complimentary soup and sandwich meal will be served to those who attend, we hope to see you there! Kay Vinje, Executive Vice President

Chamber Bucks can be purchased from the Chamber office located inside of the Rosebud Visitor Center. They can be used like a check to make purchases at any local Chamber Member business. Chamber Bucks are offered in denominations of $10, $20, $25, & $50. A small amount of change may need to be given to the customer if they don’t quite spend the full amount at one store. Chamber Bucks can be ordered in large quantities and make great employee gifts and rewards. To place an order for Chamber Bucks or for any questions, please contact the Chamber office at (701)845-1891 or email us at [email protected]. Because of the cash value associated with each Chamber Buck, we do require payment to be made prior to or at the time of pickup. Orders can be picked up during our regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm) and directories of participating businesses are available as well.
