WELCOME
Westminster Presbyterian Church is a covenant family of believers called by God to fulfill His purposes here in Laurel, and as a staging ground for worldwide kingdom growth where we seek to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ – to fill the earth with disciples, subdue it redemptively for God’s glory, and worship Him joyfully. We are being redeemed and equipped by the Spirit to build up one another until the Lord returns.

RESPONSIVE CALL TO WORSHIP*
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from trouble and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. Let us thank the Lord for His steadfast love, for His wondrous works to the children of man! For He satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul He fills with good things.
-based on Psalm 107:1-3, 8-9
HYMN OF PRAISE *
O Worship the King
O WORSHIP THE KING
PROFESSION OF OUR CHURCH’S FAITH* I believe in God the Father Almighty; Maker of Heaven and Earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN
Almighty and Gracious God, Who, as our King, abundantly provides more than all we ask of You, and Who bids us trust You with body and soul, we confess we have often taken matters into our own hands, thus revealing our attraction to counterfeit gods. We are deeply sorry and humbly repent of our pride and foolishness, and we beg of You to revive our hearts and to strengthen our faith in You alone that we may bring You glory, now and evermore, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
(Hear now our silent and individual prayers of confession)
ASSURANCE OF PARDON AND THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. AMEN.
HOLY COMMUNION
Minister: The peace of the Lord be with you! People: And also with you!
Breaking of the Bread and Sharing of the Cup The center of each bread tray contains gluten-free bread. The outer ring of each cup tray contains wine, the inner rings contain juice.

HYMN OF REFLECTION*
Holy Spirit Holy Spirit, from creation’s birth,
giving life to all that God has made, show Your power once again on earth,
cause Your church to hunger for your ways. Let the fragrance of our pray’rs arise;
Lead us on the road of sacrifice, that in unity the face of Christ
may be clear for all the world to see.
