January, February and Marchat the Cooking School

New this quarter, we are offering more Daytime Classes for the Winter since we’ve heard from a few of you that you would prefer that to evenings for this season. Also, we are offering two Book Club classes where we will make some light food to enjoy while we discuss a popular book. We are welcoming one new instructor who teaches Healthy Cooking and welcome back a few instructors who have been taking a break for a few quarters. So, look over what we have to offer; you will be pleased!

These classes are now incorporated within the Adult class listings; both Hands-On and Demonstration are offered in this category. Look for the ♥ symbol next to the title which denotes our “Healthy Class Offerings”. Keep in mind, some insurance companies are now reimbursing their customers for taking these types of classes. Check with your own insurance company for details and take advantage of these classes we have to offer!

Message from the Manager The Holidays are over and most of us are content to relax and “hibernate” for the Winter. The only problem with that is, we have SO MANY fun things to do here at the Cooking School for Adults AND children this quarter, you may be tempted to join us on a regular basis. The class subjects are always contemporary and enjoyable with a lot of variety. In addition, customer comments and suggestions are a big part of what is used to create class ideas.

For the Kids, we offer classes just about every other week for ages 3-teen. The kids’ classes are always hands-on to keep the kids interested and involved. For Adults, we have Demonstration style classes where you can sit back, and watch someone else do the cooking for you. You receive a nicely sized sample plate of each entrée. We also offer Hands-On classes where you participate in the cooking yourself because some people believe they can learn better by doing it themselves. For this type class, you receive a full portion of each entrée that all together is the equivalence of a full meal. In both styles of classes, you get a copy of the recipes to take home and get the opportunity to ask the instructor questions and benefit from their expertise.

So the bottom line is; young or old, novice or proficient, active or laid-back learner– we have it ALL here at the TCS (Tops Cooking School)! And, our motto is “You Always Get Our BEST, at the TCS!”

In addition to our regular classes for Little Chefs, Junior Chefs, and Home Schoolers, this quarter we are also offering a series for Pre-Schoolers. These classes can be attended by just the kids or can be done “Mommy and Me.” Also, we are doing our Winter Break Camp a little differently this time too. Because so many people take mini-vacations during this time, instead of signing up for the whole week, you have the option of signing up for individual classes each day OR for the whole week!
