Sony Corporation is a multinational conglomerate corporation headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan.
Sony is one of the leading manufacturers of electronics, video, communications, video game consoles, and information technology products for the consumer and professional markets.
Soundation Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita founded the
company. Founded it in May 7, 1946. Named the company “Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo K.K” Japan's first tape recorder called the Type-G. First commercially produced transistor radio.
The name from sonus, the Latin word for sound.
Becoming Inter-national
Morita's 1953 visit to Philips. Overseas marketing is an
overseas business. Offices had been set up in New
York, Hong Kong and Zurich. February 1960, Sony
Corporation of America (SONAM) was established .

class enters the company. Career progression is highly predictable, regulated, and automatic.
Members of the same graduating class usually start
with similar salaries, and salary increases and promotions each year are generally uniform.
The purpose is to maintain harmony and avoid stress and jealousy within the group.
