Restrictions were put on gasoline so travel was harder for people

Spent his childhood in Kansas City, Missouri
His dad worked on the railroad
His mom worked 2 or 3 jobs at a time
When he was 12 he struggled to play the Alto-Saxophone
He became a Saxophonist
