Canary Wharf’s only Grade I listed building… The Museum of Docklands is a venue with deep roots in the past, yet views of the futuristic Canary Wharf skyline envelop it in stunning panorama. Built in 1802, the Georgian warehouse which house the museum is Canary Wharf’s only Grade I listed building. The Ledger Building takes its name from its original use back when the Docks were operational. Ledgers and Accounts were calculated and stored for the management for the whole of Docklands.
