Portfolio: Brews & Books
This mock design project of a 100 sqm concept caféwas used as an example for an eBook I wrote.
This 100 sqm concept café targets students and booklovers alike
by fusing the ideas of serving coffee and offering a wide selection of
books. Formerly a library, it is inspired by what it used to be.
The challenge was to keep as much of its originality intact while trans-
forming it into a bright and inviting space that attracts passersby. A
toilet had to be added and a special request to let the cast iron
columns take center stage has been granted.

Portfolio: Master Suite with a View
An 80 sqm master suitewith a view of mountainscapes.
Here’s the latest design project I’ve worked on — an 80 sqm mas-
ter suite that lends the view of mountainscapes as the backdrop. The
open layout it sectioned by a play of heights to give different functions
their own room.
The master suite is decorated on a canvas of neutrals; white with
touches of wood to allow a play of colors. Blues are dominant to in-
spire a sense of calm with a generous splash of green (thanks to the
plants), while the yellow brings a burst of energy and takes center
stage in the open space.

These designs gives a glimpse of my design taste. They were made possible by Neybers,
an Interior Design platform that used to be available online.
“Neybers is an interior design playground
for anyone interested in decoration.
In neybers, users create rooms and decorate them with a vast range
of modern and stylish products from real designers and brands
— in a simple and playful environment.”

Portfolio: A Baroque Bathroom
The design style used in this bathroom is Neo-Baroque. The unique-
ness of this bathroom lies in the consideration of our environment
through the use of repurposed clay bricks, broken and/or rejected
tiles made into mosaic pieces, and the choice of clay as the key mate-
rial. This combination creates a space that emphasizes sustainability,
functionality and aesthetics.
Contemporary elements, such as the use of an achromatic color
scheme, straight lines and a bold layout of the room are in juxtapo-
sition with feminine overtones through the use of subtle textures,
curved frames and classic accents.
This combination of contemporary and feminine characteristics cre-
ates a glamorous and chic bathroom. The subtle and soft texture of
the walls and floor, adds character to the space. The overall design
reflects a feminine spirit—emphasizing a love for glam and elegance
in the context of sustainable design.
