BACKGROUND:

Punjab Emergency Service, Rescue 1122, Jhang service started in Jhang from

October 2009 ith ma!!ing and "ommunity #areness !rogram in a $oaned bui$ding as the

centra$ station as sti$$ under construction% Service became o!erationa$ after getting

#mbu$ances in &ovember 2009% 'he "entra$ Station Rescue 1122, Jhang as handed over in

January 2010 hich as sti$$ under construction%

(uring the !eriod of &ovember 2009 to Se!tember 2010 Rescue 1122 Jhang has saved ))92

victims as 2*9+ got first aid and 29* ere hos!ita$i-ed, res!onded to ..) emergencies in

Jhang and got about )9/1 ca$$s%
