DIVISION DEMONSTRATION TEACHING FESTIVAL
To: Public Schools District Supervisors Principals, Head Teachers, Teacher In Charge Elementary and Secondary Schools
1. The Schools Division office through the Curriculum Implementation Division will spearhead a Demonstration Teaching Festival that will be conducted in the districts with the following objectives to wit: a. To showcase appropriate application of pedagogical approaches b. Present authentic samples of ELLN teaching principles c. Provide opportunities for teachers who are qualified for promotion
2. The target audience participants will be the teachers who are three years and below in the service, while the demonstration teachers will come from the group of Teacher III and Master teachers.
3. The following are the mechanics for the said demonstration teaching festival: a. The District shall submit the data needed usin the attached tern late
District Demonstration Teacher Subject Schedule of the Demo Festival Area
b. The District shall organize the different committees such as: ► Process observers composed of the PSDS, Principals and Master Teacher ► Mentor/coach (from among the Principals) for the demo teacher ► Lifeline from among his/her co-teachers who will assist in the preparation of visual
aids ► Identify the demo teachers who have the specialization in English, Mathematics,
Science, Filipino and Araling Panlipunan ► The Mentor/Coach shall critique the DLP of the demo teacher then let him/her
execute the pre-demo teaching at the district level. ► The Division office shall be provided with the copy of the plan after it has been
polished. ► The subject Education Supervisor must oversee the demonstration teaching festival. ► The targeted audience in the demo teaching festival must sign the attendance sheet
and answer the evaluation as a reflection of their learning they have acquired.
4. The Division Supervisors shall prepare the Certificate ¢ Recognition for the demo teachers. 5. Wide dissemination of the conten~ s memoranduin is desired.
