Industrial construction expected to deliver

nearly 5.5 million square feet by year-end

• Warehouse and distribution construction activity in Columbus has been delivering quickly during the

summer months. Amazon’s distribution and fulfillment centers brought 1,855,000 square feet of BTS

space this past month while the Exxcel CenterPoint building brings another 478,000 square feet of

speculative space. As the summer winds downs, Columbus can look forward to another 2.0 million

square feet of deliveries over the next several months. By the end of 2016, the local industrial market will

have seen nearly 5.5 million square feet of total space delivered.
