India’s largest chain of salon launches itsflagship outlet of Lakme Absolute Salon inMumbai. The salon inspired by the backstageof Lakme Fashion Week. The sprawling salonspreads over 200 sq.mt. which has beenconceptualized and brought to life by expertsfrom beauty and fashion fraternity. Theinteriors also reflect contemporary trends rightfrom the show lights to images of thebackstage.

The project took 9 months fromconceptualization to delivery. I was responsiblefor creating the store plan with regards to totalspace allocation and design standards.Publishing of periodic PERT charts and analyseimpact on budget, project sales andperformance. Negotiate cost and qualifyingcontractors and contracts. Closure of the projectwith all necessary closure reports anddocuments .

Lakme Absolute Salon are also located inBangalore and Delhi (India) and were based on thesame concepts as the flagship store the salon werebuilt in a span of 6 months and 8 monthsrespectively.

Project 2

I had been project manager for 46 salons acrossIndia during my tenure and have managed andconstructed the salon from signing up of the lease tothe final handover of the premises to the operationdepartment. The Project consist of planning andexecuting of Reception, Hair stations, Medi- Pedi,Facial rooms, Hair wash, Retail space, Signage's,Internal graphics, Salon furniture and equipmentand Salon Consumables.

Project 3The Shipping Corporation of IndiaLocation: Nariman Point, Mumbai ( India )

The Shipping Corporation of India is a Government of IndiaPublic Sector Enterprise with its headquarters in Mumbaithat operates and manages vessels that services both nationaland international lies . It started with only 19 vessels andtodays it evolves into the largest Indian shipping company.It is India’s premium shipping line and it operates aroundone-third of the Indian tonnage, and had operating interestin particularly all areas of shipping business, serving bothnational and international trades.

I was a Site Manager for this project, workingvery closely with sub-contractors, the workexecuted were Civil, Carpentry, Electrical ,HVAC (ductable units), Painting , Gypboardwork, Glass work . This was a turnkey projectand was handled by M/s Jayant K.Furnishers.

The Project took 7 months to complete fromsite demolition to handover with projectcompletion certificate and certifying of Bills ofQuantities.

Project 4Sayaji Hotel Ltd.Location:Wakad, Pune (India)

At Sayaji Hotel, there are around 244rooms which which spread over ninefloors and are tastefully designed andboast all the comforts you need to have apleasant stay. The rooms are designedwith high end equipment and interiors.There is also space to conduct businessmeeting in the two conference rooms thatare made just perfect. Portico is theflagship restaurant the other to follow are,a roof top restaurant called BarbequeNation and Turque.
