“The Eucharist is a door; it is a threshold between God and man. In it Jesus’ flesh
and blood, soul and divinity is encountered in a loaf of bread and a cup of wine.
As the Church takes and eats this life-giving bread and saving cup they under-
stand that they are entering into the bridal chamber with the risen Lord and be-
come united with Him and incorporated into his body. In this action the Church
enters into the procession that follows the ascension of Christ and
emerges at a new vantage point of the Kingdom of God.”*
May this feast of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ draw us into a deeper
encounter with the Living God found in the Eucharist. *Billy Kangas (www.patheos.com)

Have Extra Rosaries in the
House?
Church of the Incarnation will be holding a Rosary
Drive from June 4th — June 10th, hoping to collect at
least 5,000 Rosaries to send to Malawi.
Malawi is a small country with a total population of 15, 900, 000. It is located in South East Africa.
68% of Malawi population are Christians with the majority of the Christians being Catholic.
However, due to the poverty rate, many Catholics are not able to purchase a rosary.
A friend of the Parish will
be heading back to her home country of
Malawi and we would like to fill her luggage with
many rosaries!
Please gather rosaries in a plastic bag and place in the box located in the narthex.
Join us for a
Farewell
Reception for
Fr. Carney!
June 4th and 5th is our last
weekend with Fr. Carney
before he retires.
We will have a light reception
after every mass.
In his 25 years of serving as a
Priest, Fr. Carney has certainly
touched the lives of many.
We are very grateful for the
impact Fr. Carney has left here
at Church of the Incarnation.
Please come and wish him well!
