Fiberglass boat Mom bought to keep me off motorcycles, Pounded the

bottom out of the boat in the bay @ Anna Maria,

Florida.

Mine was like this one. Really struggled to keep it

running. Had to change plugs every time I used it.

Pull start sometimes took 30-45 min to get started and all my energy to get it going but I was determined.

buy, burned a rod bearing, over-revving and probably didn’t check oil enough. Dad

was understanding though and had it

reground. Mine was like this one but not nearly as nice. I used a belt the keep the

door closed after I almost fell out going

around right hand corners a few times and the door would fly open.

That’s me in the lowered 2 tone at drag strip in

Tallahassee, FL 1961. Lowered by heating the springs until it was all the way down. Rough riding but cool
