SedAlp…
…aims to reduce sediment-related risks
and impacts of hydropower plants
…focuses on the implementation of pilot
actions to influence the policy level
…deals with issues relevant to be dealt
with at transnational level
The Programme‘s Expectations?
Clear impact expected from the pilot activities on the
pilot areas but transferability to other territories is
expected
An added value to previously implemented projects
on sediment management must be achieved
Development of strategic outputs able to influence the
policy making level
The Programme‘s Expectations!
Meet your ambitions
Prove us wrong regarding the weaknesses
→ ensure that results are transferred and USED by
others, link to the policy level
→ produce results that do
not replicate previous ones,
but that open up to new solutions
Transnational results
Have a common voice
Know yours and each others results
Communicate them to the relevant people
Make sure others use the results
Think long term
Make it real
Remind yourselves of your ambitions
Have your AF as a constant reference
Use each others expertise
