WORSHIP Connect with Christ through Prayer & Worship 15 Minutes Invite Christ into your group through prayer and worship. Worship can be added to your group as you grow in community. You can use CD’s, DVD’s, or someone may know how to play a guitar. The rules are...there are no rules. Do what makes you comfortable and glorifies God. GROW Time for Bible Study & Discussion 40 Minutes Read: Jonah 4:111 as a group. 1. What are some of the things Jonah was concerned about in Jonah chapter four? 2. Why do you think that Jonah wanted to die? 3. When is a time in your life that when you were really upset because of life’s circumstances. 4. When you get overly focused on your own life, what issues normally rise to the top? 5. What are some things that you can do to get your eyes off of your issues and on God’s mission? INFLUENCE Encouragement & Practical Application 10 Minutes Complete the following challenge: 1. What have you seen in others that made you angry, that later on you realized were in you all along? 2. Based on what makes you angry, who should be on your EGC3 prayer list? 3. Split up into groups of 2 and share who is on your EGC3 prayer list and why. SERVE Connect with the Church and Community through Service Remember: 1. Take a few minutes with the person you shared your EGC3 prayer list with and pray for one another’s list. 2. Challenge each person in your group to invite 23 people to Easter services (April 8 th ). BEFORE YOU LEAVE… Find someone before you leave and find out how they are doing, really. Take care of administrative group tasks: Make sure that people are sharing the snacks & prayer list responsibilities.
