The advantages
The JORDAHL-AnchorChannel System JXA can beapplied universally as an anchor channel in
the construction industry as a mounting channel in
equipment building for static loads of
18 kN JXA W 29/2012 kN JXA W 38/23
for dynamic loads with arange of stressof 2.4 kN JXA W 29/20 of 3.6 kN JXA W 38/23
particularly suitable forfixings in lift construction.
JORDAHL-Anchor ChannelsJXA are needed when loadsalong the length of thechannel also have to becarried. In conjunction withserrated bolts JXD and JXH,a safe, close-fitting connec-tion is formed. Previous limi-tations in the use of anchorchannels in the longitudinaldirection are overcome bythese new profiles. JXAAnchor Channels are capa-ble of being loaded in alldirections.
As long as only concentricloadings and transverse load-ings are to be borne, thenhammer head bolts of typeJD, JUD and JH, JUH can beused. For non-static loadings,JORDAHL-Anchor ChannelsJXA offer the highest dyna-mic load-bearing capabilityin their class.
JORDAHL-Anchor ChannelsJXA are subject to qualitycontrol in accordance withDIN EN ISO 9001.They are made from steel toDIN EN 10025 in bright rolledor hot galvanised versions. We hold proven quality stocklengths (6 m) and shortpieces (150, 200, 250 mm)in stock at all times. Specificlengths can be manufac-tured at short notice tocustomers requirements.

Permissible loads
Perm. range of stress for a load cycle number N = 2 x106
JORDAHL-Anchor ChannelsJXA are approved by theGerman building inspectorateunder the license numberZ-21.4-1690.The anchor channels may befixed in standard reinforcedor unreinforced concrete ofstrength class B15 accord-ing to DIN 1045;1988-07.The values in the table applyto concrete B25.When using concrete ofstrength class B15, the valuesin the table must be reducedby a factor of 0.7. The loadsthat can be borne are inde-pendent from the directionof the load. However, it mustbe ensured that when load isapplied in several directions, the load resultant must notexceed the permitted loadsgiven in the table.
JORDAHL-Anchor ChannelsJXA are also approved by thebuilding inspectorate fortension loads that are notprimarily static and con-centric. The given ranges ofstress apply to the profilesW 38/23 and W 29/20 withround anchors or I-anchors.
Only use in reinforced con-crete components is allowed. When installing in the load-induced stress zone in rein-forced concrete components,it must be demonstrated thatthe forces can be transmittedfurther.

In combination with ham-mer head bolts JD, JUDand JH, JUH, JORDAHL-Anchor Channels JXA canbe used in a similar fashionto the anchor channels JTAfor loadings perpendicularto the longitudinal axis ofthe channel (transverseload, diagonal load andconcentric load). Hammerhead bolts JD, JUD and JH,JUH are not approved forloads in the longitudinaldirection of the channel.
