IXth Basic Neuropathology & Neuroanatomy Course for ECVN and ACVIM residents and

trainees in Veterinary Neurosciences

Barcelona, 18th to 29th November 2019 In November 2018, VIIIth edition of the course took place at the Veterinary Faculty of Barcelona, Spain. All the attendants recognized the quality and interest of this theoretical and practical course together with the good atmosphere and time spent during these days. We announce the IXth edition of the course organized by the Department of Animal Medicine and Surgery of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. The responsible of the course and in charge of the neuropathology part, will be Dr. Martí Pumarola, DVM, Dipl. ECVP. The teaching staff will also include Dr. Vicente Aige, DVM, who will develop the neuroanatomy part. Foreign speakers include Dr. Kaspar Matiasek (Ludwig-Maximilans-University Munich, Germany) and Dra. Sílvia Sisó (Biomarin Pharmaceutical Inc., San Rafael, CA, USA). Attendance: the course is offered specially to residents and trainees in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosciences. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 20 people in order to enable participation, case discussion and individual follow-up.
