Apostle Paul mentioned to Philippians … “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again:

Rejoice!.” (Phil. 4:4) “你们要靠主常常喜乐。我再说，你们要喜乐。” ( 腓立比書 4:4)

1. Joy in Sufferings (Phil. 腓立比書 1: 12-20)在患难中的喜乐

Romans 羅馬書 5:1-5”... but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”

1 Thessalonians 帖撒羅尼迦前書 1:6” …in spite of severe suffering, you welcomed the message with the joy given by the Holy Spirit.“

2. Joy in Serving (Phil. 2:12-18) 在事奉中的喜乐

Colossians 歌羅西書 3:23-24 “…you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

Isaiah 以賽亞書 12:2-3  “ 3 With joy you will draw water from the wells of

salvation. “

3. Joy in Believing (Phil. 3:1,7-11) 在信道中的喜乐

John 約翰福音 20:31 31…believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.”

1 Peter 彼得前書 1:8 “8Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,”

4. Joy in Giving (Phil. 4:10, 15-17) 在慈惠事上的喜乐

2 Corinthians 歌林多後書 8:7“7But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us—see that you also excel in this grace of giving. “

Acts 使徒行傳 20:35 “…remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' "

The secret of Apostle Paul’s joy is grounded in his relationship with Christ.

In every circumstances, we can rejoice at all times because Christ still reigns.

We must not rely on what we have or what we experience to give us joy, but on Christ within us.

Jesus said that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete if you obeys my commands. (John 15:10-12)
