Ministerial Order for the Transfer of Property Between Greater St. Albert to SturgeonThe Ministerial Order has been prepared regarding the transfer of assets (e.g., school building, modulars, chattels, etc.).The department is waiting for the exact legal land description of the newly subdivided school property to include in the Ministerial Order.

Update on Sturgeons Occupancy of G. P. Vanier SchoolGreater St. Albert Roman Catholic Separate School District has vacated the school. The two superintendents have agreed to allow Sturgeon to begin moving into the school.The two modular units being transferred from Vanier School to Notre Dame are ready for the move in early August.Reclamation of the site and modular link will occur following the removal of the modular units.Notre Dame UpdateThe swings and the outdoor classroom have been removed in preparation for the seven modular classrooms to be installed.The swings have been disposed of and the outdoor classroom will be installed at another location at the school.

Notre Dame UpdatesBuilding permit will be submitted to the Town shortly.Confirmation of the construction company for the parking/paving and bus lay by work is expected shortly.Four new modular classrooms are completed and have passed inspection.The bathroom modular unit is scheduled to be complete by the end of July.Transport of modular classrooms to Notre Dame will occur in early August.Jen-Col Construction Project Management will confirm location of screw piles for modular set up shortly.Three storage units of school furniture and equipment were moved from Vanier to Notre Dame by Greater St. Albert.All site drawings are complete and sent to Jen-Col.Tender for screw piles and site work is ready.Initial estimates/costs, breakdown by trades, project schedule and timeline will be prepared by Jen-Col.Group2 Architects will meet with the parent council(s) regarding implications for playgrounds at Notre Dame and G. H. Primeau schools.Georges H. Primeau The two modular classrooms from Fr. Jan School in St. Albert are ready to be installed at Primeau in early August.Existing screw piles need to pass inspection.
