Wednesday, September 11, 6:00 p.m., All Saints School, Canton Wednesday, September 18, 6:00 p.m., Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Plymouth
Monday, September 23, 6:30 p.m., St. Edith Parish, Livonia Thursday, October 10, 6:00 p.m., St. Fabian Parish, Farmington Hills

HELLO OLV Altar Servers! Please note that throughout the summer months, alter serving is on a volunteer basis only. There will be a sign-in sheet at each Mass for trained Altar Servers to be able to
serve. All servers newly trained and “retired” are welcome to help out! Each Server should write their name on the sheet at the podium in the Gathering
Space prior to entering the sacristy to dress in their alb. Thank you for your help this summer! We will begin training new servers next fall.
Also, we are in need of a new coordinator for next year’s Altar Server Schedule. Please call the Parish
Office or email [email protected] for more information.
OLVSCHOOLNEWSOLV is accepting applications in grades kindergarten through fifth.
Do you know where your child is going to school this fall? Our Lady of Victory Catholic Parish School is a place to learn academics, as well as our Christian Values. We
encourage our students to grow as learners and as Catholics, to be challenged academically, and confident to serve others. Our Catholic Parish School community will
provide a rigorous academic and Catholic curriculum, a safe environment, and a place where teachers and students model Christ like behavior and respect for all. Your OLV student will be well prepared for success in any college preparatory high school. For more information and to tour the school, please contact Kate
Szuba, Principal, at [email protected].

David lives on….
David Widzinski COMMUNITY GOLF CLASSIC
A community gathering to remember and celebrate David’s life, faith and spirit, while supporting local charitable causes.
On December 3, 2012, our son, brother and friend, David Widzinski, died in his sleep. David appeared to be in perfect health and his passing was a tremendous shock to his family, friends and community. After David’s passing, we decided to take action to remember David and the tremendous impact he had on many people.
Who was David? • He was a fun loving, kind-hearted and compassionate 16-year-old young Northville resident. • He was a good student and athlete. • Most importantly, he deeply loved and cared about people, and not just his friends or family, but everyone, from the homeless, to
the quiet or lonely, and to those who needed a friend. Since losing David, we hold a golf outing and dinner on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. We call it the David Widzinski Community Golf Classic because it is a community event, where we love, laugh, remember David, and help others. This year’s golf outing will be held on September 1, 2019, at Tanglewood Golf Course in South Lyon. We hope you can join us.
We also ask our community for help so that we can create a memorable event, including raffling gift baskets to support this celebration of David’s life. This is a memorial celebration and proceeds are donated to local families in need, as David would want it. If David had only one dollar in his pocket, he would always give it away before using it for himself.
If you are in a position to do so, please help us by making a cash donation, sponsoring a Hole ($100/hole), or donating something that we can use as a raffle prize. Please contact Barbara Widzinski at [email protected] or call/text (734) 634-1026. David Lives On is a non-profit organization.
