Monday, June 19, 2017 to Thursday, July 27, 2017(Classes do not meet and the college is closed on Fridays during the summer.) You may register at Berkeley City College, College of Alameda, Laney or Merritt College for Summer Session classes; you may also register on the Internet at www.berkeleycitycollege.edu or at www.peralta.edu. Please note that the colleges are closed Friday, May 19; Monday, May 29; and Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

New, Former and High School Students Apply for Summer 2017You are a new student if you never have attended a Peralta college. You are a former student if you were enrolled before Fall 2017. New and returning student enrollment begins Thursday, April 27. High school student enrollment begins Monday, May 22.

Enrollment Fees**The current California community college enrollment fee for students who have lived continuously in the state one or more years is $46 per unit. Out-of state-students pay $276 per unit (the cost includes the $46 per unit enrollment fee). International students pay $282 per unit, which includes the $46 per unit enrollment fee, plus a Capital Outlay Fee up to $144 per year; and a $15 summer Health Services Fee. BCC’s Susan Almon Duncan Library is open to all currently registered Peralta College stu-dents, faculty, and staff. The library contains over 8,000 volumes, a small collection of print periodicals, and an audio-visual collection. You may check out materials with a current Berkeley City College (or oth-er Peralta college) Photo ID card and current enrollment sticker. The card is free of charge and can be obtained in Rm. 124B, 1st Floor. Li-brary computer workstations provide access to the college’s catalog, as well as over 20 on-line databases.

Computer workstations with internet access as well as ADA-compliant workstations are available to DSPS students and faculty. Some alternate media is provided in Braille, e-text and large print upon request. Book media sources, including videocassette and au-diocassette tapes, CDs; VCR, DVD, and CD equipment are also available for use inside the library. You also may use the library services and facilities at the College of Alameda, Laney, and Merritt campuses.
