1st Meeting-Torino, Italy

19.-23.10.2015.

* Because of certain circumstances Poland and

Hungury were not able to participate in this first

meeting

The Green school project started in Turin, Italy

with the first mobility...

Teachers and students from Germany, Spain,

Croatia and Italy were working on the

introductory tasks of this project...

Day 2-Introduction and sightseeing

In the morning each country presented their city and

school

Italian students held short presentation on the theme of

herbs

Cordinators had work on this project and future

Day 3-

visited EXPO 2015 in Milan and spent most of the day

there

EXPO is universal exposition, this year hosted by Italy,

Milan

the theme (motto) of EXPO 2015 is ”Feeding the Planet,

Energy for Life”

145 countries participants presented themselves in

individual or grouped pavilions

Day 4-Working in the Labs

visited the Pharmaceutical University of Turin in Savigliano

presentation on the role of chemistry in herbs used for

medicines

divided in two groups, we took part in two different

experiments

1. distillantion and extraction process

2. making and designing the packaging of final products

hanged out in the evening

Plans for future meetings in other countries

Filling in the questionnaire about the quality of the

project and its aspects

Last but not least

First meeting in Italy was a great opportunity to

learn about the „Green School” project and see

many things. Italians were extraordinary hosts.

We are all really excited to keep in touch with our

new friends and work on our future meetings.
